Mike Lucas
Preaching Minister
Mike Lucas is a West Virginia native. He is a graduate of Ohio Valley College (‘77) and Oklahoma Christian College (‘79). He has also done post-graduate studies at Harding University Graduate School of Religion. He holds the B.A. in Bible & Religious Education.
Mike has served in full-time preaching ministry for over 28 years and has worked with churches in West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia. He became the Preaching Minister for the Bayside church in June, 2000.
Mike & Kim (his wife of 29 years) love life with their adult children; Brandon, Tressa, Autumn & Paolo Barsanti; and their brand-new grandson, Gabriel Pierce Barsanti.
Mike enjoys being a grampa, writing, being taken on a walk by the family dog “Irie”, telling & hearing corny jokes, working on the lawn, rooting for his beloved WV Mountaineers & Pittsburgh Steelers, spending time with his favorite “grama” … and sharing Jesus. (Just ask him!)
